Disney’s live-action film starring Emma Stone as Cruella that’s adapted from Dodie Smith's novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians and Disney's 101 Dalmatians franchise is a delight to watch. Just in case you don’t know, Estella aka Cruella is a Fashion genius! Her outfits are so fabulously punk. She was Alexander McQueen before Alexander McQueen. Cruella’s Fashion genius lies in her matching and mismatching of materials, her attention to detail and marvellous acumen to surprise. Her outfits are practically wearable high Fashion and you kind of get the feeling that if you tried hard enough, did a bit of DIY, and OpShopped your ass off maybe you too could look like Cruella. To steal her looks think leather coats, high contrast colors like black and white, leather jackets, well tailored suits, red dresses, belts and high quality materials. So, that’s what I’ll be trying to do next week and who knows, maybe I too end up having a marvellous time ruining everything. Hence the gallery filled with her outfits.
